- For the dal : Wash and soak the dals in water for 2 hours. Drain ina pot or pressure cooker add soaked dals along with ingredients listed for dal.Cover pot with a tight fitted lid or pressure cook the dal until soft and mashed,Turn the heat off, Keep aside,.
