- Peel apples and cut into medium size chunks..
- Place the apples, half of the sugar, the lemon juice, and a tablesoon of water into a small pan covered with a lid then leave to simmer on a low heat for 5/10 minutes until the apples become soft and brownish..
- Whilst the apples are cooking, place the remaining ingredients in a bowl cutting the butter into small cubes..
- Rub the butter and other ingredients with fingertips until the mix turns into crumbly balls, you can add more flour or butter depending on preference..
- Pour the apple mix into a small oven dish, and spread the crumble mix evenly over it..
- Place in oven at about 200°c and bake for roughly 30 minutes or until golden brown..
